RESOLUTION NO.g4-10
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN
OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS AWARDING A BID FOR
LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE ON PUBLIC AREAS OF THE
TOWN TO JASPER HAYES COMPANY; AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE CONTRACT; PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Town of Trophy Club, Texas (the "Town"),
in accordance with State law, heretofore issued a request for
sealed bids for landscape maintenance of the public areas of
the Town; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with that request for sealed
bids, the town received two (2) bids on or before August 8,
1994; and
WHEREAS, the lowest bid submitted was submitted by
Jasper Hayes Company; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council, having reviewed the bids
submitted and having received the recommendation from the
Town Staff, now desires to award the bid to Jasper Hayes
Company for five years with the possibility of an additional
five years renewal.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF
THE TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the above and foregoing preamble is
true and correct and is incorporated into the body of this
Resolution as if copied herein in its entirety.
Section 2. That the Town Council does hereby award and
accept the bid for landscape maintenance of the public areas
of the Town, as described in those certain specifications
made a part of the Town's Invitation For Bids for landscape
maintenance (together with all documents accompanying the
Invitation For Bids) dated July, 1994, to Jasper Hayes
Company in the amount of One Hundred Six Thousand, Two
Hundred Forty -Eight and No/100 Dollars ($106,248.00) per year
for five years beginning October 1, 1994 through September
30, 1999.
Section 3. That the Town Mayor is hereby authorized to
execute the Landscape Maintenance Agreement.
Section 4. That this resolution shall take effect from
and after its date of passage.
