A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN
OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS ACCEPTING AND APPROVING
THE COBRA ADMINISTRATION AGREEMENT BY AND
BETWEEN THE TOWN AND THE TEXAS MUNICIPAL
LEAGUE GROUP BENEFITS RISK POOL, A COPY OF
WHICH IS ATTACHED HERETO; AUTHORIZING AND
DIRECTING THE MAYOR OF THE TOWN TO EXECUTE THE
SAID AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE TOWN;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Town of Trophy Club, Texas (the "Town") is an
employer member of the Texas Municipal League Group Benefits Risk
Pool (the "Pool"); and
WHEREAS, the Town, as the Plan Administrator of its employee
benefits plan, desire that the Pool assist the Town in complying
with the requirements of the Consolidated Omnibus Budget
Reconciliation Act ("COBRA").
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN
OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS:
Section 1. The COBRA Administration Agreement by and between
the Town of Trophy Club, Texas and the Texas Municipal League Group
Benefits Risk Pool, a true and correct copy of which Agreement is
attached hereto, is hereby accepted and approved.
Section 2. The Mayor of the Town is hereby authorized and
directed to execute the said Agreement by and on behalf of the
Town.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect from and after
its date of passage as provided by law.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the Town Council of the Town of Trophy
Club, Texas this the 19th day of May, 1994.
