PROCLAMATION 2002-06
A PROCLAMATION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TROPHY
CLUB, TEXAS, TO RECOGNIZE OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT BY THE
TROPHY" CLUB POLICE EXPLORERS POST 957 WHO REPRESENT OUR TOWN
AND WHO BY THEIR PARTICIPATION IN THE STATE `LAW ENFORCEMENT
EXPLORER COMPETITION BRING HIGH HONOR TO THE TOWN AND TO ALL
OF OUR RESIDENTS; RECOGNIZING AND CONGRATULATING THEM ON
THEIR ACHIEVEMENTS;; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Town of Trophy Club is fortunate to have dedicated Explorers who willingly
participate, aggressively train, and in other ;ways support the Explorer Program to demonstrate their knowledge
and practical knowledge of Texas Laws and Police Procedures; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Trophy Club is fortunate to have the support of the Advisors - the teachers;
who leadour Explorers in these activities; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Trophy Club desires to recognize these Explorers and
Advisors' for their outstanding, dedication and commitment to excellence.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the Town of Trophy Club, Texas, recognizes and congratulates Trophy Club
Explorer Post 957 for their outstanding effort, their dedication and commitment to excellence by beating the
odds in their first competition as a "Rookie" team by achieving Third Place in Hostage Negotiations and
Third Place in Misdemeanor Traffic Stops with Arrests at the 2002 State Law Enforcement Explorer
Competition in Richardson, Texas, on April 6, 2002.
Section 2. That the Town of Trophy Club, Texas,' recognizes this accomplishment is a source of
high community pride and significant positive recognition for our Town, and hereby recognizes the following
Explorers and Advisors:
