OF THE TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB
ORDER NUMBER BSC-22-001
WHEREAS, the Town of Trophy Club Building Standards Commission held a public hearing on
the 29 t h day of November 2022 to hear a case relative to the property located at 241 Oak Hill,
Trophy Club, Texas, (hereinafter "Property"); and
WHEREAS, the structure at 241 Oak Hill has suffered continuous damage because of foundation
movement and infiltration by water and elements; and
WHEREAS, Town Staff determined the structure was inhabitable, dangerous and a nuisance;
and
WHEREAS, the property owners, Maury and Dana Buford, and mortgage holders were notified
of the hearing and the owners appeared at the hearing.
The Building Standards Commission finds and enters the following order:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED BY THE BUILDING STANDARDS COMMISSION OF THE
TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS:
Section 1. All of the above premises are found to be true and correct and are incorporated into
the body of this Order as if copied in their entirety.
Section 2. The Building Standards Commission finds the structure at 241 Oak Hill, Trophy Club is
a dangerous building and an urban nuisance under state and local codes. The Building
Standards Commission hereby orders the structure and foundation be demolished and
removed within 90 days of the date this Order is signed with the following deadlines:
A) Owner or Owners representative must apply for a demolition permit with the Town
of Trophy Club within 30 days of the date this order is signed.
B) Owner shall demolish and remove the structure and foundation within 90 days from
the date this order is signed.
Section 3. If the owners do not demolish and remove the structure and foundation within 90
days from the date this order is signed, the Town of Trophy Club is authorized to demolish and
remove the structure and foundation and all expenses shall be charged to the Owners.
