A.1 Call to order and announce a quorum.
A.2 Citizen Presentations: this is an opportunity for citizens to address the Park &
Recreation Board on any matter whether or not it is posted on the agenda. The
Board is not permitted to take action on or discuss any presentations made to the
Board at this time concerning an item not listed on the agenda. The Board will
hear presentations on specific agenda items prior to the Board addressing those
items.
A.3 Board to discuss and make recommendations to staff concerning the
presentation to be given to Town Council at a later date.
A.4 Staff to discuss with Board the creation of ponds by the developer within the
donated green space being given to the Town as required by ordinance.
A.5 Discuss and make recommendations concerning the public survey as compiled
by Carter & Burgess.
A.6 Discuss and take appropriate action on the approval of the Oct 9th, Nov 6th, Dec
11th, minutes.
A.7 Parks and Recreation Staff update and discussion regarding project updates as
listed below: There will be no action taken on any individual project posted under
this item and discussion will be limited. If extensive discussion is required, the
item may be placed on a future agenda.

various issues that the Board will address in the near future.

Staff to discuss with Board the creation of ponds by the developer within the
donated green space being given to the Town as required by ordinance.
EXPLANATION:
The developer needs fill material for a related project and is moving
forward to excavate two large areas to produce that material. The ponds
created by this would add to the scenic amenities within the passive area
and provide the Town additional recreational programming opportunities.

Staff will go over the questions that will be used in the random telephone
survey that will be used in creating a comprehensive park plan. The
Board’s input is desired in this process.
