WHEREAS, The Patriot Tour is a National non-profit organization consisting of firefighters, police
officers and leaders in the community whose sole purpose is to provide communities with a
program that locally supports veterans, law enforcement, and fire service personnel; and
WHEREAS, October 4, 2020 will be recognized as "THE PATRIOT TOUR Day", to appreciate and be
thankful for veterans and public safety professionals throughout the community, and in doing so,
will request the community wear patriotic colors in honor of America and to join forces to help The
Patriot Tour Movement; and
WHEREAS, The Patriot Tour has evolved to appreciate All Americans by expressing appreciation
and thankfulness to all of the veterans, current military, law enforcement and fire service
personnel by brightening their day with a simple smile to all who have served and are serving for
our freedom; and
WHEREAS, there shall be no limitations to what is possible within a community devoted to The
Patriot Tour, where said efforts should be celebrated every day, but specifically, on "The Patriot
Tour Day"; and
WHEREAS, "The Patriot Tour Day" is a day dedicated to recognize all Americans, Veterans, Law
Enforcement and Fire Service Personnel. Today, the need exists to come together and teach future
generations of our country's Freedom, as One Nation for the love of humanity and not in service to
oneself.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, C. Nick Sanders, by virtue of the authority vested in me as Mayor of
the Town of Trophy Club, Texas do hereby proclaim October 4, 2020 as:

In the Town of Trophy Club and urge all Citizens to support the efforts of The Patriot
Tour.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Official Seal of the Town of
Trophy Club to be affixed on this 22nd day of September, 2020.
