PROCLAMATION NO. 2019-11
A PROCLAMATION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS, RECOGNIZING THE WEEK OF MAY 5 - 11,
2019 AS MUNICIPAL CLERKS WEEK IN TROPHY CLUB; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Office of the Municipal Clerk provides the professional link
between the citizens, the local governing bodies and agencies of government at other
levels; and
WHEREAS, Municipal Clerks have pledged to be ever mindful of their neutrality
and impartiality, rendering equal service to all; and
WHEREAS, the Municipal Clerk serves as the information center on functions of
local government and community; and
WHEREAS, Trophy Club's own Municipal Clerk, Mrs. Holly Fimbres has
previously obtained her Texas Registered Municipal Clerks (TRMC) designation in
2015, following earning her Bachelor's Degree of Business Administration in 2011
and Associate's Degree of Business Administration in 2007; and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Fimbres, has over 19 years in municipal government
experience having worked in many different rolls including the areas of
Environmental Health Services, Building Services, Planning and Development and
finally Town Secretary; and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Fimbres started her Trophy Club career in 2015 and has
dedicated herself to serving the residents and Town Council passionately with
unwavering integrity and stewardship.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, MAYOR C. NICK SANDERS, IN CONJUNCTION WITH
THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS, DO HEREBY
PROCLAIM:
May 5 - 11, 2019 as Municipal Clerks Week
PASSED AND APPROVED by the Town Council of the Town of Trophy Club,
Texas, this 14th day of May 2019.
