PROCLAMATION NO. 2015-02
A PROCLAMATION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS, ESTABLISHING THE DAY OF JANUARY 21,
2015 AS JULIA MICHELOTTI DAY IN TROPHY CLUB.
WHEREAS, Julia Michelotti was born in Iowa on January 21, 1915 to Anna and
Frank Cihak, brave immigrants from Czechoslovakia; and
WHEREAS, Julia was one of four siblings, attending a country school house and
developing a love of reading, cooking, and crocheting; and
WHEREAS, Julia married Rudolf Joseph Nekola in June of 1941 and as a
military family lived in various locations across the country; they were blessed with a
daughter, Julie; sadly after 5 years of marriage Rudolph, an army veteran, was a
casualty of World War II; and
WHEREAS, Julia is a wonderful and loving mother raising her daughter alone for
15 years before marrying Frank Michelotti; and
WHEREAS, Julia is blessed with 2 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; and
WHEREAS, Julia Michelotti having previously resided in Roanoke and now living
in Trophy Club, has been a blessing to all she has come in contact with over the past
100 years and is joined by friends and family today to celebrate this exciting milestone
in her life.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, MAYOR NICK SANDERS, IN CONJUNCTION WITH
THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, by virtue of the authority
vested in them, does hereby wish Mrs. Julia Michelotti a very happy 100th birthday and
does hereby proclaim January 21, 2015
JULIA MICHELOTTI DAY
in the Town of Trophy Club and call upon all fellow residents, family and friends to pay
tribute to Mrs. Michelotti on her 100th birthday and wish her health and happiness in all
her days to come.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have here unto set my hand and caused the Seal of
the Town of Trophy Club to be affixed this 13th day of January, 2015.
