ORDINANCE NO. 0 85-1
AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN
OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS, APPROVING AND ADOPTING
THE PROVISIONS OF CHAPTERS ONE THROUGH TEN,
INCLUSIVE, OF TITLE 28, VERNON'S ANNOTATED CIVIL
STATUTES, 1963 EDITION, AND EACH SUCCEEDING
REVISION THEREOF; DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS:
Section 1. That there is hereby adopted by the Town of Trophy Club,
Texas, Chapters One through Ten, inclusive, of Title 28 of Vernon's Ann. Civ.
Stat., 1963 Edition, and each succeeding revision thereof, and it is hereby
incorporated herein as if fully set out in length herein and from the date in which
this ordinance shall tape effect, the provisions thereof shall be controlling within
the jurisdiction of the Town of Trophy Club,
Section 2. The fact that the present ordinances and regulations of the
Town of Trophy Club, Texas are inadequate to properly safeguard the health,
safety, morals, peace and general welfare of the inhabitants of the Town of
Trophy Club, Texas creates an emergency for the immediate preservation of
public business, property, health, safety and general welfare of the public which
requires that this ordinance shall become effective from and after the date of its
passage and it is accordingly so ordained.
