ORD 1986-14Ft E P E A L E D ORDINANCE NO. 86-14 TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS ORDINANCE NO. 0 86-14 AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBERO 85'22 --RELATING TO THE PROHIBITION OF PARKING OF VEHICLES ON AND WITHIN CERTAIN DEFINED STREETS WITHIN THE TOWN BY AMENDING SECTION 2 THEREOF BY ADDING ADDITIONAL DEFINED STREETS TO THE PROHIBITION; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE CUM- ULATIVE OF ALL OTHER ORDINANCES RELATING TO PARKING EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT OF CONFLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED THE SUM OF TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS ($200.00) FOR EACH OFFENSE AND A SEPARATE OF- FENSE SHALL BE DEEMED COMMITTED EACH DAY DURING OR ON WHICH A VIOLATION OCCURS OR CONTINUES; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS: Section 1. That Ordinance Number 85-220f the Town of Trophy Club, Texas is hereby amended in the following particulars, and that all other sections, subsections, paragraphs, sentences, words and phrases of said Ordinance are not amended but are hereby ratified, verified, approved and affirmed: A. That Section 2 relating to the prohibition of parking of vehicle is amended to read as follows: "Section 2. Parking of Vehicles Prohibited. "It shall be unlawful for any person, driver, operator or owner to leave, park or stand any motor vehicle, mobile home, motor home, recreational vehicle, trailer or boat upon the following portion of the specified public streets located within the Town: "d. Along the south bound and west bound lane of Indian Creek Drive between Hillcrest Court and Timberline Drive." "e. Along both sides of Trophy Lake Drive from State Highway 114 to Trophy Club Drive." Section 2. If any section, article, paragraph, sentence, clause, phrase or word in this ordinance, or application thereto any person or circumstance is held invalid or unconstitutional by a Court of competent jurisdiction, such holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance; and the Town Council hereby declares it would have passed such remaining portions of the ordinance despite such invalidity, which remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect. Section 3. That ordinance shall be cumulative of all other ordinances of the Town affecting traffic and streets, and shall not repeal any of the provisions of said ordinances except in those instances where provisions of those ordinances are in direct conflict with the provisions of this ordinance. Section 4. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be subject to a fine in a sum not to exceed Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) for each offense and a separate offense shall be deemed committed upon each day during or on which a violation occurs. Section 5. That this ordinance shall be effective from and after its date of passage according to law.
