ORDINANCE NO. 0 88-74
AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 87-13 PROHIBITING
PARKING ON CERTAIN DESIGNATED STREETS BY
ADDING CERTAIN PUBLIC STREETS WHEREON PARKING
IS PROHIBITED; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY
CLAUSE; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING
A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED THE SUM OF FIVE
HUNDRED DOLLARS ($500.00) FOR EACH OFFENSE AND
A SEPARATE OFFENSE SHALL BE DEEMED COMMITTED
EACH DAY DURING OR ON WHICH A VIOLATION OCCURS
OR CONTINUES; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TROPHY
CLUB, TEXAS:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 87-13 of the Town of
Trophy Club, Texas (the "Town") be and the same is hereby
amended in the following particulars, and that all other
sections, subsections, paragraphs, sentences, phrases and words
of said Ordinance are not amended but are hereby ratified,
verified, approved and affirmed:
A. That Section 2 of Ordinance No. 87-13 is hereby
amended so that it shall hereafter read as follows:
"Section 2. Parking of Vehicles Prohibited.
It shall be unlawful for any person, or
driver, operator or owner of a motor vehicle,
mobile home, recreational vehicle, trailer or
boat to leave, stand or park a motor vehicle,
mobile home, motor home, recreational
vehicle, trailer or boat at any time upon the
following portions of the specified public
streets located within the Town:
A. Indian Creek Drive between its inter-
section with Trophy Club Drive and
Heritage Court;
B. Along the south bound and west bound
lanes of Indian Creek Drive between
Timberline Drive and Hillcrest Court;
C. Trophy Club Drive between its intersection
with State Highway 114 and Avenue Twenty.

D. Trophy Lake Drive;
E. Along the south side of the entire length
of Fairway Village Drive;
F. Along the south side of the entire length
of Summit Cove Drive."
Section 2. If any section, article, paragraph, sentence,
clause, phrase or word in this ordinance, or application thereto
any person or circumstances is held invalid or unconstitutional
by a Court of competent jurisdiction, such holding shall not
affect the validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance;
and the Town Council hereby declares it would have passed such
remaining portions of the ordinance despite such invalidity,
which remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be cumulative of all
other ordinances of the Town of Trophy Club, Texas, affecting
parking and shall not repeal any of the provisions of said
ordinances except in those instances where provisions of those
ordinances are in direct conflict with the provisions of this
Ordinance.
Section 4. Any person violating any of the provisions
of this Ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and
upon conviction thereof shall be fined in a sum not to exceed
Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) and a separate offense shall be
deemed committed upon each day during or on which a violation
occurs or continues.
Section 5. That this ordinance shall take effect from
and after its date of passage and publication as provided by law.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the Town Council of the Town of
Trophy Club, Texas this the 24 day of October 1988.
