AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TROPHY
CLUB, TEXAS INSTRUCTING AND DIRECTING THE TOWN STAFF TO
TAKE ALL NECESSARY LEGAL STEPS TO CALL A JOINT PUBLIC
HEARING OF THE TOWN PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION AND
TOWN COUNCIL FOR THE PURPOSES OF CONSIDERING THE REZONING
OF A CERTAIN TRACT OF LAND LOCATED WITHIN THE TOWN AND
GENERALLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: BEING GENERALLY
DESCRIBED AS THE THE CLUB AT TROPHY CLUB, TROPHY CLUB,
TEXAS, INCLUDING THE GOLF CLUB HOUSE, GOLF COURSE AND ALL
OTHER PARTS OF THE CLUB AT TROPHY CLUB, AND CONTAINING
294.6631. ACRES OF LAND, AND AS MORE PARTICULARLY
DESCRIBED BY METES AND BOUNDS IN EXHIBIT "A" ATTACHED
HERETO AND INCORPORATED HEREIN, BY GRANTING ON THE SAID
TRACT, CURRENTLY ZONED CR -COMMERCIAL RECREATION, A
CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR
THE ON -PREMISE SALE, SERVING, CONSUMPTION, STORAGE AND/OR
POSSESSION OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES, AS AUTHORIZED BY
SECTIONS 34 (SALE OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES) AND 42
(CONDITIONAL AND SPECIAL USE) OF THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING
ORDINANCE, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE TOWN'S COMPREHENSIVE
ZONING ORDINANCE, ORDINANCE NO. 91-01; PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB,
TEXAS:
Section 1. That the Town Staff is hereby instructed and
directed to take all necessary steps in compliance with Chapter
211, Tex. Loc. Gov. Code Ann. (Vernon) and the Comprehensive Zoning
Ordinance of the Town, Ordinance No. 91-01, to call a joint public
hearing of the Town Planning and Zoning Commission and Town Council
for the purpose of considering the granting of a conditional use
permit for the on -premises sale, serving, consumption, storage
and/or possession of alcoholic beverages in accordance with
Sections 34 and 42 of the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance, on that
real property described generally as:
The Club at Trophy Club, including the golf club house,
golf course and all other parts of the The Club at Trophy
Club, and containing 294.6631 acres of land, and as more
specifically described by metes and bounds in Exhibit "A"
attached hereto and incorporated herein, located within
the Town of Trophy Club, Texas,
the said tract of land being currently zoned CR -Commercial
Recreation, in accordance with the terms of the Comprehensive
Zoning Ordinance, Ordinance No. 91-01 of the Town.
Section 2. The Town Staff is directed to advertise for and
give notice of the joint public hearing in as expeditious a manner
as is legally possible, and to select a time and location for the
public meeting at a public place that is the most reasonable to

accommodate the citizens, and any and all actions taken by the Town
Staff to give such notice of or prepare for the joint public
hearing are hereby ratified.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall take effect from and
after its passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the Town Council of the Town of Trophy
Club, Texas this the 18th day of January , 1994.
