AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB,
TEXAS AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 91-03 OF THE
TOWN, THE SAME BEING THE TOWN'S SUBDIVISION
ORDINANCE, BY AMENDING: (1) SECTION 6.14.1.S
RELATING TO STREET SIGNS BY REQUIRING THAT
STOP SIGNS AND STREET SIGNS PROVIDED IN
SUBDIVISIONS PLATTED AFTER THE EFFECTIVE DATE
HEREOF SHALL BE OF THE SIZE, DIMENSION AND
CONSTRUCTION TYPE PROVIDED FOR IN THIS
AMENDMENT, AND (2) APPENDIX C "ILLUSTRATIONS"
BY ADDING THERETO THE DRAWINGS AND DESIGNS
FOR CERTAIN DIRECTIONAL AND STREET SIGNS
ATTACHED HERETO AS EXHIBIT "A"; PROVIDING A
SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY
CLAUSE; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB,
TEXAS:
Section 1. Amendment. Ordinance No. 91-03 of the Town of Trophy Club, Texas (the
"Town"), the same being the Town's subdivision ordinance, is hereby amended in the following
particulars, and all other sections, subsections, paragraphs, sentences, phrases and words of
Ordinance No. 91-03 are not amended but are hereby ratified and affirmed:
A. Section 6.14 relating to streets is hereby amended by amending subsection Ls.
relating to street signs to read as follows:
"Within the corporate limits of the Town of Trophy Club street signs will be
furnished and installed by the subdivider at each intersection.
The developer shall install all regulatory, warning and guide signs, including
posts, as shown on the plans or as directed by the Town. Street name signs shall
be installed at each intersection. Examples of regulatory, warning and guide
signs are as follows:
1) Regulatory signs shall include, but are not limited to STOP, 4-WAY,
YIELD, KEEP RIGHT, and speed limit signs. Any Stopsigns and street
signs provided in subdivisions platted after March 21, 1995 shall be of the
size_, dimension and construction type provided in Appendix C Illustration.
Duplicate signs of each -sign installed shall be provided to the Town by the
developer of the subdivision.
2) Warning signs shall include, but are not limited to DEAD END, NO
OUTLET, DIVIDED ROAD, and PAVEMENT ENDS.

3) Guide signs shall include, but are not limited to street name signs,
DETOUR, direction arrow and advance arrow."
B. Appendix C "Illustration" is hereby amended by adding to the said Appendix the
drawings and diagrams attached hereto as Exhibit "A."
Section 2. Savings. This Ordinance shall be cumulative of all other ordinances of the
Town affecting the subdivision or platting of land and shall not repeal any of the provisions of
those ordinances except in those instances where the provisions of those Ordinances are in direct
conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance.
Section 3. Severability. The sections, paragraphs, sentences, phrases, clauses and words
of this Ordinance are severable, and if any section, paragraph, sentence, phrase, clause or word
in this Ordinance or application thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid or
unconstitutional by a Court of competent jurisdiction, such holding shall not affect the validity
of the remaining portions of this Ordinance, and the City Council hereby declares that it would
have passed such remaining portions of this Ordinance despite such invalidity, which remaining
portions shall remain in full force and effect.
Section 4. Effective date. This Ordinance shall become effective from and after its date
of passage as provided by law.
