ORDINANCE NO. 6 -1 as
AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB,
TEXAS AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 92-14 RELATING
TO THE REGULATION OF JUNKED AND ABANDONED
VEHICLES BY AMENDING SECTION S (PENALTY)
THEREOF BY REDUCING THE AMOUNT OF THE
PENALTY FROM $2,000.00 TO $200.00 FOR
EACH OFFENSE; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TROPHY
CLUB, TEXAS:
Section 1. Amendment. Ordinance No. 92-14 relating to the regulation of junked and
abandoned vehicles is hereby amended in the following particulars, and all other sections,
subsections, paragraphs, sentences, phrases and words of the said Code are not amended but are
hereby ratified, verified, approved and affirmed:
A. Section 8 is hereby amended so that it shall hereafter read as follows:
"Section 8. Penal1y. It shall be unlawful for any person to violate any
provision of this Ordinance, and any person violating or failing to comply with
any provision hereof shall be fined, upon conviction, in an amount not to exceed
Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) for each offense, and a separate offense shall be
deemed committed each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues. "
Section 2. Effective date. This Ordinance shall become effective from and after its date
of passage as provided by law.
