AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS INSTRUCTING AND
DIRECTING THE TOWN STAFF TO TAKE ALL
NECESSARY LEGAL STEPS TO CALL A JOINT PUBLIC
HEARING OF THE TOWN PLANNING AND ZONING
COMMISSION AND TOWN COUNCIL FOR THE PURPOSE
OF CONSIDERING (A) A SITE PLAN FOR LOT 2, THE
VILLAGE AT TROPHY CLUB, FOR RETAIL AND
COMMERCIAL USES (CONVENIENCE STORE) WITH GAS
SERVICE ISLAND, (2) REZONING ON A 23.5304 ACRE
TRACT FROM R-15 TO PD PLANNED DEVELOPMENT
FOR SINGLE FAMILY USES, AND (3) REZONING ON A
9.8082 ACRE TRACT FROM R-12 TO PD PLANNED
DEVELOPMENT FOR SINGLE FAMILY USES;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB,
TEXAS:
Section 1. The Town Staff is hereby instructed and directed to take all necessary steps
in compliance with Chapter 211, Tex. Loc. Gov. Code Ann. (Vernon) and the Comprehensive
Zoning Ordinance of the Town, Ordinance No. 94-09, to call a joint public hearing of the Town
Planning and Zoning Commission and Town Council for the purpose of reviewing and
considering (i) a site plan for Lot 2, The Village at Trophy Club for retail/commercial uses with
a gas service island, (ii) rezoning a 23.5304 acre tract from R-15 Single Family Residential to
PD Planned Development for single family uses, and (iii) rezoning a 9.8082 acre tract from R-
12 Single Family to PD Planned Development District for single family uses.
Section 2. The Town Staff is directed to advertise for and give notice of the joint public
hearing in as expeditious a manner as is legally possible, and to select a time and location for
the public meeting at a public place that is the most reasonable to accommodate the citizens, and
any and all actions taken by the Town Staff to give such notice of or prepare for the joint public
hearing are hereby ratified.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect from, and after its passage.
