ORDINANCE NO. 2000-25
AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NUMBER O 85-15
ESTABLISHING AND LEVYING A PRIVATE CLUB REGISTRATION
PERMIT FEE AND A PRIVATE CLUB LATE HOURS PERMIT FEE IN
ACCORDANCE WITH THE TEXAS ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE CODE,
SECTION 11.38; PROVIDING A REPEALER CLAUSE; PROVIDING A
SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING
FOR ENGROSSMENT AND ENROLLMENT; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on June I5, 1985, by Ordinance No. 0 85-15, the Town of Trophy Club,
Texas, established and levied a private club registration permit fee and a private club late hours
permit fee in accordance with the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code, Section 11.38; and
WHEREAS, the Town Cowicil hereby finds that the best interests of the Town would be
served by discontinuing any and all enforcement of the ordinance and repealing such ordinance
in its entirety.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION I.
INCORPORATION OF PREMISES
The above and foregoing premises are true and correct and are incorporated herein and
made a part hereof for all purposes. f=urther, Ordinance No. 0 85-15, duly passed and approved
by the Town Council of the Town of Trophy Club on Tune 15, 1985, is hereby repealed in its
entirety.
SECTION 2.
SAVINGS CLAUSE
All rights and remedies of the Town are expressly saved as to any and all violations of
the provisions of any other ordinance affecting private clubs which have secured at the time of
the effective date of this Ordinance; and, as to such accrued violations and all pending litigation,
both civil and criminal, whether pending in court or not, under such ordinances same shall not be
affected by this Ordinance but may be prosecuted until final disposition by the court.
SECTION 3.
REPEALER CLAUSE
This Ordinance shall be cumulative of all other Ordinances of the Town and shall not
repeal any of the provisions of such other Ordinances except those instances where those
provisions are in direct conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance.

SECTION 4.
SEVERABILITY CLAUSE
If any section, article, paragraph, sentence, clause, phrase or word in this Ordinance, or
its application to any person or circumstance is held invalid or unconstitutional by a Court of
competent jurisdiction, such holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this
Ordinance; and the Town Council hereby declares it would have passed such remaining portions
of the Ordinance despite such invalidity, which remaining portions shall remain in full force and
effect.
SECTION 5.
ENGROSSMENT AND ENROLLMENT CLAUSE
The Town Secretary is hereby directed to engross and enroll this Ordinance by copying
the caption and effective date clause in the minutes of the Town Council and by filing this
Ordinance in the ordinance records of the Town.
SECTION G.
EFFECTIVE DATE
This ordinance shall become effective from and after its date of passage as required by
law.
