AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TROPHY
CLUB, TEXAS, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1999-25, THE 1999-2000
BUDGET; DECLARING A GRAVE PUBLIC NECESSITY TO AMEND THE
BUDGET; PROVIDING FOR A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING FOR
ENGROSSMENT AND ENROLLMENT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Trophy Club is authorized under Section
102.009(c) to amend the budget; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Trophy Club has fowid it necessary to
amend the budget to meet unusual and unforeseen conditions that were not included in the original
budget; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS:
Section 1
Ordinance Amendment
Ordinance No. 1999-25, the annual budget for the fiscal year 1999-2000 is hereby amended
as follows. The Town Council approves and adopts the amendments to the 1999-2000 budget as
shown:
a. Account Item # 9543, Information Services, will be increased by $25,000.00,
resulting in a total of $56,803.00
b. Account Item # 3111, unreserved fund balance, will be decreased by $25,000.
Section 2
Budget Amendment
The Town declares that a grave public necessity exists to meet an unusual and unforeseen
condition that could not have been included in the original budget. The Council amends the
1999-2000 budget to accurately reflect the income and expenditures of the Town for said fiscal year.
The amended budget document shall be filed with the Town Secretary.
Section 3
Severability
That if any section, subsection, paragraph, clause, phrase or provision of this ordinance shall
be adjudged invalid or held unconstitutional, the same shall not affect the validity of this ordinance
as a whole or any part or provision thereof, other than the part so decided to be invalid or
unconstitutional.
Section 4
Engrossment and Enrollment
The Town Secretary of the Town of Trophy Club is hereby directed to engross and enroll this
Ordinance by copying the caption, and effective date clause in the minutes of the Town Council of
the Town of Trophy Club and by filing this Ordinance in the ordinance records of the Town.
Section 5
Effective Date
That this ordinance shall become and be effective on and after its adoption.
