ORDINANCE 2000-03
AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS, PROVIDING
REVISIONS AND DELETIONS; APPROVING REVISED RATE SCHEDULES
FOR TXU ELECTRIC COMPANY; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE FOR
REVISED AND DELETED TARIFFS; PROVIDING REGULATORY POWERS
AS ALLOWED BY LAW; PROVIDING FOR ENGROSSMENT AND
ENROLLMENT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Town of Trophy Club, Texas is empowered under §51.001 of the Texas
Local Government Code to adopt an ordinance or rule that is for the good goverin-l7ent of the
Town; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the Town of Trophy Club, Texas, to approve
revised rate schedules that are in compliance with regulations adopted by the Public Utility
Commission of Texas (hereinafter the "Commission").
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS:
SECTION I.
RATE SCHEDULES
The Town Council hereby approves and adopts those revised rate schedules implemented
by the Commission. TXU shall be subject to these schedules, and any amendments adopted by
the Commission. Tariffs not in compliance with regulations adopted by the Commission are
hereby deleted.
SECTION II.
REVISED TARIFFS
The Revised Tariffs shall be effective on and after March 1, 2000.
SECTION III.
DELETED TARIFFS
The Deleted Tariffs are hereby deleted effective March 1, 2000, and TXU Electric may
not render service or collect charges under said Deleted Tariffs within the corporate limits of this
municipality on or after March 1, 2000.
SECTION IV.
REGULATORY POWERS
Nothing in this Ordinance contained shall be construed now or hereafter as limiting or

modifying in any manner the right and power of the Governing Body of this municipality Linder
the law to regulate the rates, operations, and services of TXU Electric.
SECTION V.
ENGROSSMENT AND ENROLLMENT
The Town Secretary of the Town of Trophy Club is hereby directed to engross and enroll
this Ordinance by copying the Caption and Effective Date Clause in the minutes of the Town
Council and by filing this Ordinance in the ordinance records of the Town.
