Trophv Club Women's Club Inc. 25TH YEAR ANNIVERSARY
A PROCLAMATION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF 'THE TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS,
TO RECOGNIZE THE 25TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE TROPHY CLLlB WOMEN'S CLLlB INC.;
WHO OFFERS FRIENDSHIP, ACTIVI'TIES IN MUTUAL INTERESTS AND CHARITABLE GIFT
GIVING TO NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS IN DENTON AND TARRANT COLINTIES;
RECOGNIZING AND CONGRATULATING THEM FOR 25 YEARS; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Trophy Club Women's Club Inc. will observe its 25'h anniversary as an
organization run entirely by volunteers who desire to help those in the surrounding communities;
and
WHEREAS, the Trophy Club Women's Club Inc. welcomes newcomers to Trophy Club to
promote new friendships and foster social contacts; and
WHEREAS, let it be known that the Trophy Club Women's Club Inc. traditionally supports
Scholarships to High School Seniors, local charities such as Rocky Top Therapy Center, Lena
Pope Home, Friends of the Family, Metroport Meals on Wheels; and
WHEREAS, the Trophy Club Women's Club Inc. realize there is strength and good works
in the hearts and abilities of their members who donate a portion of their time to at least one
fundraising event per year; and
WHEREAS, the members of Trophy Club Women's Club Inc. have shown their support
and pride in our community by promoting the Town through the Holiday Tour of Homes, Golf
Tournaments, 4Ih of July events and other community events; and
WHEREAS, the Trophy Club Women's Club Inc, has a rich history, along with the town of
Trophy Club, the history of the Women's Club is as diverse as the women in the club, boasting a
membership of approximately 200 women and growing monthly.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, MAYOR NICK SANDERS, in conjunction with the Town Council
of the Town of Trophy Club, Texas by the power vested in me as Mayor of Trophy Club, hereby
proclaim and proudly recognize this 25'h Anniversary of the Trophy Club Women's Club Inc.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the Town Council of the Town of Trophy Club, Texas this
6'h day of November, 2006.
