The Town Council of the Town of Trophy Club, Texas met in
regular session on September 30, 1994. The meeting was held
within the boundaries of the Town and was open to the Public.

CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Carter called the meeting to order at 7:00 a.m. noting
an adequate number was present for a quorum. He then welcomed
Council Members, guests, and staff.
INVOCATION
An Invocation was given by Council Member Moore.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE AMERICAN AND TEXAS FLAGS.
The pledge of allegiance to the American and Texas Flags was
led by Donna Welsh.
TOWN COUNCIL TO CONSIDER AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF TROPHY
CLUB FIXING AND LEVYING MUNICIPAL AD VALOREM TAXES FOR THE
FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 1994 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER
30, 1995, AND FOR EACH FISCAL YEAR THEREAFTER UNTIL OTHERWISE
PROVIDED, AT A RATE OF $.4261 PER ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS
($100.00) ASSESSED VALUATION ON ALL TAXABLE PROPERTY WITHIN
THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE TOWN AS OF JANUARY 1, 1994;
DIRECTING THE ASSESSMENT THEREOF TO PROVIDE REVENUES FOR THE
PAYMENT OF CURRENT OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE EXPENSES AND
INDEBTEDNESS OF THE TOWN; PROVIDING FOR DUE AND DELINQUENT
DATES TOGETHER WITH PENALTIES AND INTEREST; REPEALING

CONFLICTING ORDINANCES; PROVIDING A SAVINGS AND SEVERABILITY
CLAUSE; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
Mayor Carter noted that the only increase this year was the
.09 cents for the street bond issue. Mayor Carter stated that
he and the council were very appreciative of the residents
approving the bond issue to repair our streets.
Mayor Pro Tem Hill made a motion to approve the ordinance as
presented. Council Member Moore seconded; motion carried
unanimously.
Mayor Pro Tem Hill made a motion to adjourn the meeting at
7:04 a.m. Council Member Stoltz seconded, motion carried
unanimously.
