COUNTY OF DENTON
The Town Council of the Town of Trophy Club, Texas met in
a regular session on Tuesday, March 15, 1994. The meeting
was held within the boundaries of the Town and was open to
the Public.

Mayor Carter called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. noting
a quorum was present. He then welcomed Council Members,
guest, and staff.
INVOCATION
An Invocation was given by Council Member Moore.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE AMERICAN AND TEXAS FLAGS
The pledge of allegiance to the American and Texas Flags was
led by Council Member Stoltz.
CONSENT AGENDA
As the Consent Agenda deemed little deliberation, Mayor Pro
Tem Hill made a motion to approve it as it stands. Council
Member Glaspell seconded. Item A was passed by Council
Members Glaspell, Hill, Moore and Stoltz with Council Member
Engelbeck abstaining since he was out of town for that
meeting. Item B passed unanimously.

PRESENTATIONS BY CITIZENS
No presentations were given by the citizens.
STAFF AND COMMITTEE REPORTS
Mr. LeGrand, Director of Public Works, informed the Council
that the street repair contract had been signed and work
could start the week of March 21st.
Town Manager, Donna Welsh, reported that Town Attorney, John
Hill is joining a law firm but wants the Town of Trophy Club
to continue to be his client. Since his rates will remain
the same for the fiscal year, the Council had no objection to
this new arrangement.
She reminded the Council that Debbie Abernathy, Court Clerk -
Receptionist, had resigned and that Gloria Hennen has been
hired to start mid-April.
PRESENTATIONS BY COUNCIL
The Council had no presentations, but Mayor Carter requested
that citizen Doyle Krauss be recognized. He was the only
citizen in attendance.
Council Member Engelbeck stated his amazement over the
participation and success of the recycling program.
ADJOURN
Mayor Pro Tem Hill made a motion to adjourn at 7:07 p.m.
Council Member Glaspell seconded; motion carried unanimously.
The next meeting is Tuesday, April 19, 1994.
