The Town Council of the Town of Trophy Club, Texas met in
Regular Session on Monday, February 27th, 1989 at 7:00 P.M.
The meeting was held at the Municipal Utility District
Building, 100 Municipal Drive, Trophy Club, Texas. The
meeting was held within the Town boundaries and was open to
the Public.

Mayor Carter called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M. noting
a quorum present.
Mayor Pro Tem Vance gave the invocation.

MR. JOE KURTZ, CHAIRMAN OF PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE, TO ADDRESS
THE COUNCIL CONCERNING STREET REPAIR
Mr. Kurtz told the Council he had received a copy of the as
built plans on existing streets within the Town. At the
intersection of Indian Creek Drive and Skyline Drive the six
(6) inch street pavement ends and five (5) inch pavement
begins. Trophy Lake Drive and Trophy Club Drive from Trophy
Lake Drive also only have five (5) inches of pavement. On
Indian Creek Drive between Skyline Drive and Fair Green Drive
there are no longitudinal joints and some of the panels have
cracked. Mr. Kurtz asked the Council to allow these repairs

and also enforce the Overweight Vehicle Ordinance by
requiring drivers to provide proof that their vehicle is not
overweight.
Council Member Doran made a motion to install a longitudinal
joint and cleaning and sealing of cracks on Indian Creek
Drive between Skyline Drive and the new park area for between
twelve and fifteen thousand dollars to be taken out of the
contingency fund. Council Member Martignago seconded the
motion.
Mayor Pro Tem Vance made a motion to amend the original
motion to take funds from the street repair budget instead of
the contingency fund. Council Member Hallgren seconded the
motion. Motion carried unanimously.
Mayor Carter called for a vote on the original motion as
amended. Motion carried unanimously.
Council Member Doran made a motion to designate an additional
five thousand dollars to be taken from the street repair
budget for emergency street repair (asphalt patching) for the
following areas:
Indian Creek Drive eastbound between Inverness Drive and
Pebble Beach Drive,
Indian Creek westbound at Shields Court,
Indian Creek Drive eastbound at Shields Court,
Ross Court and
Indian Creek [)rive westbound from west of Lake Forest Drive.
Mayor Pro Tem Vance seconded the motion. Motion carried
unanimously.
Council Member Doran made a motion to repair and fill all
existing utility cuts at one hundred dollars per cut to be
taken out of street repair fund. Council Member Hallgren
seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously.
CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES
Council Member Doran made a motion to approve the Minutes of
the Regular Meeting held February 13th, 1989. Council Member
Martignago seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously.

Council Member Doran asked for the strict enforcement of
accessory buildings.
Mayor Carter stated Dick Venetoff has resigned from the Task
Force Committee due to his new job and relocation.
Staff reports are filed with the Minutes of this meeting.
Council Member Martignago made a motion to approve the
January 1989 Financial Statement. Council Member Hallgren
seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously.
RESOLUTION: A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. B5-4 REGARDING ADOPTION OF THE TIME
AND PLACE OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB.
Council Member Martignago made a motion to adopt the
resolution with the new meeting dates starting March 21st,
1989. Mayor Pro Tem Vance seconded the motion. Motion carried
unanimously.
Mayor Pro Tem Vance made a motion to adjourn the meeting.
Council Member Martignago seconded the motion. Motion carried
unanimously.
