BACKGROUND/SUMMARY: Sec. 363.103 of the Government Code provides that the board shall elect from among its members a president and vice president. The board shall appoint a secretary and the the secretary need not be a director. The person who performs the duties of auditor for the political subdivision shall serve as treasurer for the district. Each officer of the board serves for a term of one year. The meeting was held within the boundaries of the Town and was open to the public. Budget passed by vote 6-0. Chief Arata noted Town had agreed to cover cost of one of the three Police Department vehicles in the Town 2024-2024 budget. 3. Consider and take appropriate action of the Crime Control and Prevention District minutes from May 16, 2024. Board Member Labor moved to approve the meeting minutes as presented, Board Member McAllister seconded the motion. Motion passed by vote 6-0.
