WHEREAS: Lakeview Elementary School was established in 1983; and
WHEREAS: the 1983-1984 year was the first academic year for Lakeview
Elementary School; and
WHEREAS: Lakeview Elementary School is named in regards to a local pond in
Trophy Club that was in view of the school at the time of construction
by its soon -to -be staff, and
WHEREAS: now, 40 years later, Lakeview Elementary School is recognizing its
anniversary; and
WHEREAS: for 40 years, Lakeview Elementary School has "shaped the future" by
providing a quality public school education to hundreds of children;
and
WHEREAS: today, Lakeview Elementary School continues to serve families in the
eastern portion of Northwest ISD as one of two elementary schools in
the Town of Trophy Club.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Jeannette Tiffany, Mayor of the Town of Trophy Club, Texas, recognize
and congratulate Lakeview Elementary School on its 40th anniversary do hereby proclaim,
March 5, 2024, as,
"Lakeview Elementary School Day"
in the Town of Trophy Club; and on behalf of the Town Council and citizens of Trophy Club
and extend our appreciation for the many contributions Lakeview Elementary School has
made over the last 40 years including future generations of Bobcats!
