3. CITIZEN PRESENTATION: This is an opportunity for citizens to address the
Parks & Recreation Board on any matter whether or not it is posted on the
agenda. The Board is not permitted to take action on or discuss any
presentations made to the Board at this time concerning an item not listed on
the agenda.
Greg Lamont of 15 Avalon Drive Trophy Club, TX 76262 spoke about Marshall
Creek Park.
4. Discuss and make recommendations to Town Council concerning
prioritizing the improvements made to Harmony Park.
'The Board voted on the improvements to be made in the following order:

Adam Adams will get prices on lighting 2 fields and lighting 4 fields for lighting
price quotes and will consult soccer association to determine the value
between lights and shade structures.
5. Discuss Parks & Recreation presentation to Town Council on September
18th.
Pauline Twomey explained that per the Parks and Recreation Ordinance
she and Steve Gregory would work with staff on the presentation to go
before Council.
6. Park Board to discuss proposed 06/07 Park Operations Budget.
No action taken.
7. Discuss possible Parks & Recreation Board overview of special events.
Motion made by Dave Glaser that The park board will serve in an
advisory capacity to parks and recreation staff concerning all special
events held in Trophy Club.
Seconded by Steve Gregory.
Motion carries ~~nanimously.
8. Discuss current opening on Parks & Recreation Board
Motion made by Kathleen Wilson to set a closing date for the
acceptance of applications for the Parks and Recreation Board on
October 2ND.
Seconded by Dave Glaser.
Motion carries unanimously.
9. Staff Update: The Board is not permitted to take action on or discuss any
presentations made to the Board at this time.

Linear Park
To increase fees at Marshall Creek park fees

Create a master list of subjects to address in the future
Permit fees for activities held on public park land not held by the Town

The Parks and Recreation Committee Agenda was prepared in accordance
with the Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code, and
was posted on September 8th, 2006, at approximately 530 pm. This facility is
wheelchair accessible and accessible parking spaces are available. Requests
for accommodations or interpretive services must be made 48 hours prior to this
meeting,
