AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS INSTRUCTING AND
DIRECTING THE TOWN STAFF TO TAKE ALL
NECESSARY LEGAL STEPS TO CALL A JOINT PUBLIC
HEARING OF THE TOWN PLANNING AND ZONING
COMMISSION AND TOWN COUNCIL FOR THE
PURPOSE OF CONSIDERING THE REZONING OF TWO
TRACTS OF LAND FOR USE AS A GOLF COURSE, THE
SAID REZONING BEING AN AMENDMENT TO THE
COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE, ORDINANCE
NO. 94-097 OF THE TOWN; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TROPHY
CLUB, TEXAS:
Section 1, That the Town Staff is hereby instructed and directed to take all
necessary steps in compliance with Chapter 211, Tex. Loc. Gov. Code Ann. (Vernon) and
the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the Town, Ordinance No. 94-09, to call a joint
public hearing of the Town Planning and Zoning Commission and Town Council for the
purpose of considering the rezoning of two tracts of land located within the Town and as
described in the notice attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein, the said
rezoning, if adopted, constituting an amendment to the said Comprehensive Zoning
Ordinance.
Section 2. The Town Staff is directed to advertise for and give notice of the joint
public hearing in as expeditious a manner as is legally possible, and to select a time and
location for the public .meeting at a public place that is the most reasonable to accommodate
the citizens, and any and all actions taken by the Town Staff to give such notice of or
prepare for the joint public hearing are hereby ratified.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the Town Council of the Town of Trophy Club,

NOTICE OF A JOINT PUBLIC HEARING OF THE PLANNING AND
ZONING COMMISSION AND TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS CONCERNING AMENDING THE TOWN'S
ZONING DISTRICT MAP BY THE REZONING OF CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY DESCRIBED HEREIN PURSUANT TO THE TOWN'S
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AND COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE.
TO ALL CITIZENS, PROPERTY OWNERS, AND TAXPAYERS OF THE TOWN OF
TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS:
On the 31st day of August, 1995 at 7:00 P.M. and continued thereafter from day to day
as required, there will be Held a joint public Bearing of the Planning and Zoning Commission
and Town Council of the Town of Trophy Club, Texas, at the Municipal Utility District
Building, 100 Municipal Drive, Trophy Club, Texas 76262, for the purpose of considering an
amendment to the Town's Zoning District Map wliicli would, if adopted, rezone certain land
within the Town as hereinafter described, in accordance with the (i) the Comprehensive Plan
1992 for the Town of Trophy Club as adopted by Ordinance No. 92-17 (the "Comprehetxsive
Plan"), and (ii) the Town's Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance, Ordinance No. 94-09 (the
"Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance"), as amended.
The land to be rezoned consists of 17 tracts located adjacent and contiguous to the
property described as the fourth nine holes of the golf course of The Club at Trophy Club and
located generally north and east of The Quorum condominiums, and north of those subdivisions
described as Trophy Club Section One and Trophy Club Oak Hill. The tracts and the proposed
rezoning are set forth below:

Of Ms. Pauline Shaw, Town Planning and Zoning Administrator, 100 Municipal Drive, Trophy
Club, Texas and a copy of each document may be purchased at the same office.
All property owners, taxpayers and citizens will be given an opportunity during the public
hearing to express their opinions and view relative to the proposed amendments to the Zoning
District Map. Aller all parties have been given an opportunity to speak the public hearing will be
closed and the two bodies will deliberate the pending matter.
